In the 1950s, Louis Marx & Co. founded Linemar Toys, a wholly-owned manufacturing subsidiary that distributed the toy company’s product lines in Japan. The Japanese toy company sold a variety of mechanical and battery-operated toys. This Miniature Rubber Bricks catalogue showcased three different rubberized building brick kits the company produced that were similar to LEGO.
Each set consisted of a mix of all-rubber full-size bricks, half-size bricks, angle bricks, windows, doors, and roofs. Sets ranged in size from 147 to 275 pieces.
