Magnavox Odyssey2 Catalogue (1980)

Released in 1978, the Magnavox Odyssey2 was a follow-up to the original Odyssey video game system introduced in 1972. The second-generation console featured detachable joysticks, an alphanumeric membrane keyboard, and connected to a colour television for play.

Magnavox’s 1980 catalogue for the Odyssey2 showcased the growing library of game cartridges available for the system. Titles were organized into arcade, sports, and educational categories, with each cartridge sold separately. Catalogue entries outlined the objectives and gameplay of each title while highlighting the various game options, skill levels, and challenges available to players.
