Love Notes Dolls from Mattel (1975)

Mattel’s Love Notes were 10-inch dolls that made music.

Individual songs were produced by pressing on the multi-coloured hearts located on each doll’s outfit, feet, and hands. Kids could choose from Nellie, Lilty, Melody, and Bucky, each with its own unique apparel and hair style.

To facilitate music-making, each doll came with an 8-tune songbook of classic children’s jungles, including Mary Had a Little Lamb and Jingle Bells.
