By 1969, Irwin Toy had become one of Canada’s leading toy distributors and manufacturers, with an expanding line of proprietary products made from the company’s durable “Irvilon 777” plastic. Published shortly after the company went public, the 1969-1970 catalogue reflects this growing emphasis on in-house product development.
Across its 48 pages, the catalogue is heavily focused on ride-on toys, pedal vehicles, and plastic wheel toys, complemented by play furniture, tabletop games, licensed G.I. Joe vehicles, pull toys, banks and gas pumps, beverage dispensers, and an extensive collection of tea sets, dinnerware, and kitchen playsets.
