In collector’s circles, Hubley Manufacturing Company is best known for its production lines of die-cast automotive toys and highly sought-after cap guns. This 1965 catalogue showcases the Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based company’s line of Mighty Metal Toys.
Made of rust-proof metal, the vehicles were painted in bright colours, packaged in see-through boxes, and ranged from 7 to 12-inches long. Options ran the gamut from trucks and cars to construction and farm equipment.
To complement their metal vehicles, the catalogue also showcases Hubley’s foray into rack toys, plastic vehicles sold at a much lower price point than their metal counterparts.
