Western Gun Sets from Ideal (1984)

An advertisement from 1984 for Western Gun Sets from Ideal. All three sets were geared towards kids ages 4 to 10. The sets included a cap-firing repeater rifle, pistols, and holsters made of Texhyde (a faux-leather material) attached to an adjustable belt. To complete the cowboy cosplay, Ideal outfitted the sets with swag that included a “hand-tooled-look” vest, red neckerchief with a steer head slide, and a 10-gallon hat. Yee-haw!
