Editor’s Note: The Vickers Viscount was a British turboprop airliner introduced in 1948 by Vickers-Armstrongs. Sold to airlines around the world, the aircraft became known for its large passenger windows, quiet operation, and relatively comfortable cabin. In 1956, Hawk produced a model kit of the airliner featuring Continental Airlines branding.
