Editor’s Note: Tiger Electronics was an American toy company known for Furby, Giga Pets, Talkboy, and other tech-based toys. In 1997, the company released Star Wars Electronic Galactic Battle, a game that combined the play patterns of Battleship with the elements found in the Star Wars trilogy. The combat game pitted the Rebel Alliance against the tyrannical Galactic Empire in a battle to locate and neutralize their adversary’s starships. The game promised real space-combat sound effects and voices from the trilogy’s characters.
