Polish your shield and sheath your sword, because Hasbro and Nintendo have teamed up for a new line of action figures based on The Legend of Zelda.
Created by game designers Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka, The Legend of Zelda is an action-adventure franchise published by Nintendo. The series centres on Link, Princess Zelda, and their recurring battles to protect the land of Hyrule from Ganondorf, a power-hungry warlord seeking control of an ancient relic known as the Triforce to remake the world. Since the first game was released for Japan’s Famicom Disk System in 1986, the franchise has expanded to include more than 20 games across multiple generations of Nintendo hardware along with an animated television series and manga adaptations. A live-action film directed by Wes Ball is scheduled for release in 2027.
Unveiled in July at San Diego Comic-Con, The Legend of Zelda Heroes of Hyrule collection allows fans to bring their favourite game moments and cut-scenes to life. The debut wave features Link, Princess Zelda, and Ganondorf from 2023’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Each 1:12-scale figure features more than 20 points of articulation and comes packaged in a collector-friendly window box.
All three figures include character-specific accessories. Link comes with the Master Sword, a Hylian Shield, Zonai power hand, and a removable fabric cape, while Princess Zelda includes a decayed Master Sword. Ganondorf comes equipped with his Gloom Sword and a sheath. Each character also includes an interchangeable extra hand.
The Legend of Zelda Heroes of Hyrule collection is available for pre-order through Hasbro Pulse and select specialty retailers. Link and Zelda retail for $27.99 USD each, while the larger Ganondorf figure is priced at $42.99 USD. Shipping is expected to begin in June 2027.
