Hasbro and Disney Consumer Products have announced Star Wars Ultimate Grogu, a full-scale animatronic version of the beloved character from The Mandalorian.
Produced at 1:1 scale, the collectible was developed using reference material from the Disney+ series. According to Hasbro, the project focused on recreating Grogu’s movements, sounds, and physical appearance as closely as possible to the on-screen character.
Ultimate Grogu incorporates built-in motors, sensors, and microphones capable of triggering more than 250 sounds and animations. The animatronic includes three play modes and perform actions such as waving, giggling, and even toddling forward in ways that make him feel remarkably alive. Design details include a soft skin-like face, rooted hair, fabric robe, chainmail, cross strap, satchel, and beskar rondel armour, based on the character’s appearance in the hit Disney+ series and the upcoming film Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, scheduled for theatrical release on May 22.
Accessories include a cookie and an explosive charge inspired by props seen in the series.
The Star Wars Ultimate Grogu animatronic is now available for pre-order through Hasbro Pulse, Amazon, and specialty retailers including BigBadToyStore and Entertainment Earth. Priced at $599.99 USD, the toy operates using four D-cell batteries. A limited First Edition release featuring special packaging and a collector card is expected to ship in late 2026, with the standard edition scheduled to arrive in April 2027.
