UK-based television channel, Yesterday, is coming out with a new documentary series focused on the world of toy auctions.
Scouting for Toys gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Vectis Toy Auctions, one of the world’s largest toy auctioneers. Each episode shows how the company’s team of experts values and catalogues a wide range of toys before they appear in one of Vectis’ weekly auctions. Along the way, viewers meet some of the passionate folks selling their treasured collections.
The first episode, Declan’s Star Wars, airs on March 31, 2022, with new episodes scheduled to publish weekly. Season 1 will feature ten 60-minute episodes. After they air on Yesterday, each episode will become available on the UKTV Play streaming service. Watch the series trailer below.
