In 1982, Remco produced The Saga of Crystar toy line, which was linked to a short-lived comic book series of the same name released by Marvel Comics in 1983. The series revolved around two warring brothers, Crystar and Moltar from the planet Crystalium, and an ongoing battle between the “Forces of Order” and the “Forces of Chaos.”
Crystar and his Forces of Order were made of crystal while Moltar and his Forces of Chaos were made of lava. This distinction made for some unique action figures and playsets from REMCO, many of which are difficult to find today.
