Anime fans can add a dash of Pokémon-themed greenery into their surroundings with a plant pot from Succulent Monsters. The company’s “original succulent monster” bears a striking resemblance to Bulbasaur, a Pokémon series character first introduced in 1996.
Each monster is cast from a 3D printed model designed by Claudia Ng, one of the company’s founders. The plant pots are available in either plastic or porcelain and come in six colors (white, blue, black, green, pearl, and silver.) Plastic pots check in at 2.75” x 2.5” x 2” while the porcelain version is slightly larger at 3.25” x 2.75” x 2.3”.
All Succulent Monsters come with a plant, a pipette to assist in watering, and instructions on succulent care. Prices range between $29 and $39 USD, depending on your choice of material and color.
If Bulbasaur isn’t your thing, the company also offers two other monsters – Gojira (“part gorilla, part whale, and a touch of bulldog”) and Ramatee (“part ram, part manatee, all cuteness.”)
