The PEZ Visitor Center is a family-friendly space that gives fans of the candy brand an inside look at PEZ manufacturing operations and history.
Founded in Austria in 1927, PEZ has evolved from a simple peppermint candy packaged in a tin container to become a pop-culture phenomenon that inspires artists and collectors.
PEZ established its Orange, Connecticut facility in 1973 in response to increasing consumer demand. The facility manufactures, packages, and distributes products for domestic markets. The colourful visitor center gives curious consumers a chance to experience PEZ in new ways. The 4,000-square-foot facility is home to the largest public collection of PEZ memorabilia. Promotional objects on display include a PEZ-themed motorcycle created by Orange County Choppers and the world’s largest PEZ dispenser.
Visits are self-guided. Those curious about the production of the candy and dispensers can view the activities taking place in the packaging facilities from a dedicated observation area.
