The Microverse is expanding!
Manufactured and marketed by Mego, Micronauts introduced North American audiences to Japan’s Microman line in 1976. Known for their advanced articulation, futuristic designs, and modular playability, the toys remained in circulation until 1980. The line also extended into publishing through a short-lived series from Marvel Comics, created by Bill Mantlo and Michael Golden. In the years since, companies including Palisades Toys and SOTA Toys have attempted to revive the property, with Super7 eventually adding the brand to its lineup in 2025.
Marking the brand’s 50th anniversary, Super7 is preparing to release a new wave of figures. Following previous releases Biotron, Baron Karza, Microtron, and Force Commander, this third wave in the ReAction+ line introduces the Emperor along with two versions of the Time Travler. Each figure features character-specific accessories, classic O-ring construction, and 12 points of articulation.
As Grand Ruler of All Micronauts, the Emperor includes a gold vac-metal sword and a vinyl cape. The blue and yellow versions of the Time Traveler feature translucent sculpts with interchangeable and removable gold vac-metal chest panels.
Each figure is packaged on a retro-inspired blister card with bold illustrations and classic branding. Original Super7 artwork, influenced by the Micronauts comic series, appears on the reverse of the packaging.
The Micronauts ReAction+ figures are available through the Super7 website and select online retailers. Individual figures are priced at $25 USD, with a set of three offered at $75 USD.
