This 1975 dealer advertisement for Kiddie Fondue from Kenner features kids having fondue fun.
Advertised as “a safe, fun way to create a delicious candy fondue,” the set relied on hot water instead of electricity or batteries to melt the powered fondue mix. An attachable tray allowed up to three dip-worthy sauces to be made at one time. Kenner included powered mixes for chocolate, cheery, and vanilla flavors. The complete package consisted of a fondue pot, tray, five powered fondue packets, plastic forks, stirrers, and a bag of miniature marshmallows. Refill kits were sold separately.
