It’s that time of year. The Hess truck’s here!
Beginning with the release of the B61 Mack oil tanker in 1964, the Hess Toy Truck has become an annual tradition. Offering unmatched quality and affordability, this highly collectible brand has grown from a simple service station gift into the largest direct-to-consumer toy in the world. Now in its 62nd year, Hess is hitting the road once more, and bringing a pair of first-time releases along for the ride.
Introducing the Hauler Truck and Snow Plow, a 2-in-1 set that pairs a heavy-duty garbage truck with a speedy ATV. Decked out in classic colours and featuring highly detailed, reflective chrome-coloured trim, both vehicles come equipped with lights, sounds, and included batteries. Everything even comes wrapped up in custom-illustrated packaging.
The main attraction this year is the Hauler Truck, a triple-axle trash collector measuring over 10 inches long and over five inches high. One of the most fan-requested designs to date, the Hauler Truck features six free-rolling wheels and more than 72 LED lights that operate in either steady or flashing mode. Four cab-top buttons trigger different sound effects and unique flashing light patterns, while a push-button release activates a realistic compacting sound and lifts the rear hatch. This provides access to the Snow Plow and a pull-out ramp, complete with its own dedicated sound effect. With seven flashing light patterns and six sound effects, the Hauler Truck boasts the most of each to ever be featured on a Hess holiday release.
Also included is the Snow Plow, an ATV-style quad designed to load onto and deploy from the Hauler Truck’s rear ramp. Measuring close to five inches long, the Snow Plow comes equipped with a pull-back motor, an adjustable front-mounted blade, and 12 steady-on lights that activate with a quick turn of the rider’s helmet.
The Hauler Truck and Snow Plow set is now available exclusively through HessToyTruck.com for $49.99 USD, with free standard shipping and batteries included. Gift wrapping is also available for an additional $3.99 USD.
Happy Hauling!
