A vintage ad from 1995 for Milton Bradley’s Go! Go! Worms – The Squirm ‘n’ Squiggle Race Game. The game board consists of two side-by-side race tracks flanked by a finish line at one end and two plastic plungers in the form of tree stumps at the other end.
Through the roll of a die, players use a Play-Doh-like substance to attempt to grow their worms the entire length of the track. The first person to cross the finish line is declared the winner. Of course, there are obstacles along the way, most notably in the form of Mr. Chomp, the Early Bird. Via a special roll of the dice, he’s used to chomp off the head of your opponent’s worm and hinder progress towards the finish line.
