Fisher-Price Toddler Kitchen (1990)

Introduced in 1990, the Toddler Kitchen was part of Fisher-Price’s line of early childhood activity toys. Designed for children ages 9 to 36 months, the set combined moulded kitchen features with shape sorting and rudimentary mechanical actions.

The main unit featured a blue oven door on the front and a yellow cabinet door beside it, along with red sliding temperature knobs and a blue spinning burner. A built-in toaster held two orange toast slices with smiling faces that popped up and down with a “boing” sound. The set also included a shape sorting bread board and additional integrated play features.

Accessories included a green spoon with a smiling face imprint, a red round tray or pan with a triangle imprint and a round imprint on the bottom, a yellow triangular cheese block with rounded recessed “Swiss cheese” holes, and an orange round cupcake block.
