The First Family of Marvel has joined the One:12 Collective!
Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, The Fantastic Four is a team of superheroes who inherit special abilities after being exposed to cosmic rays during a scientific mission to outer space. First appearing in the pages of 1961’s The Fantastic Four #1, the group comprises Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing. As one of the most beloved teams in the world of comics, their presence has moved into animation and feature film — including the recently cast Matt Shakman reboot, which is scheduled to hit the big screen as part of the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe in July 2025.
Mezco’s all-new deluxe steel box-set features all four members of The Fantastic Four, each fully articulated and crafted in six-inch scale. Looking as though they’ve jumped right off the page, each character also comes outfitted in their iconic blue jumpsuit and features a wide range of character-specific accessories and interchangeable parts.
Leading the team is Mister Fantastic himself, Reed Richards. Known for his incomparable scientific brilliance and pliable form, his is the very first One:12 Collective figure to come with an interchangeable torso featuring an internal skeleton armature that is both durable and highly posable.
Right by his side is Sue Storm Richards, the Invisible Woman. As her superhero name suggests, Sue has powers of invisibility, which not only allows her to disappear but to also project special forcefields in battle. Known for providing balance and guidance to her team, Sue’s new figure comes with multiple effects pieces that allow fans to recreate everything from an energy shield to a psionic forcefield.
Johnny Storm, a.k.a. Human Torch, is a loyal teammate who burns up the sky with an unquenchable thirst for adventure! This superb piece includes a number of attachable flame effects as well as an interchangeable neck and head that allow him to take on his flame form. Johnny also includes several fireball effects pieces and a light-up flame blast effects stand.
Rounding out the team is The Thing. Ben Grimm is a powerhouse with a heart of gold who often serves as the backbone of his team. Mezco’s figure includes a trench coat and fedora to help him disguise his identity, as well as a posable street lamp and a metal beam accessory that he can hold.
As an added bonus, H.E.R.B.I.E. the robot is included. Created by Mister Fantastic to aid in his search for Galactus, H.E.R.B.I.E. features an on-board supercomputer and includes a mobile lab with sliding analysis tray, pop-out scope, arms, and rocket boosters.
