The Discovery Children’s Museum puts youth at the center of exploration and play through interactive exhibits and hands-on learning.
Children are encouraged to dabble in art, science, archaeology, nature, and other pursuits throughout the 26,000-square-foot museum located in downtown Las Vegas. Founded in 1984, the museum weaves together a mandate to educate children with opportunities for unstructured play.
By nurturing creativity and imagination in children, the Museum provides a safe space for children to learn and grow. Exhibits include the eco city, discovery lab, art space, science bench, and more. The Discovery Children’s Museum is also an academic partner for educational institutions in Nevada.
The museum offers virtual and mobile programs, as well, along with field trips and camp experiences.
