The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis offers kid-centric programming that ignites the curiosity of children and adults alike.
Founded in 1925, the Museum has grown to become the world’s largest children’s museum. The five-storey museum hosts an impressive permanent collection that includes exhibits about geographic treasures, children’s contributions to culture, prehistoric earth, and the Broad Ripple Park Carousel (a National Historic Landmark). Special temporary exhibits contribute to the Museum’s mandate of creating learning experiences through interactive elements that encourage play and discovery. Physical activity takes centre stage at the Museum’s outdoor exhibits as baseball, golf, hockey, and the fitness park motivate families to get active.
Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.
