A 1950s commercial for the “crying and wetting” Betsy Wetsy doll from Ideal. Released in 1934, Betsy Wetsy was much desired by young girls throughout the 1950s and 1960s in particular. Ideal also sold a variety of accessories for the doll, including carrying cases and clothing. In 2003, the Toy Industry Association named Betsy Wetsy to its Century of Toys List.
