Battleship Rustic Series Edition from Hasbro

Battleship was first released as a board game in the late 1960s by Milton Bradley. Since then, the classic game of naval combat has been re-imagined in a variety of versions and formats. Hasbro recently added another option to the mix, Battleship Rustic.

Part of the company’s larger Rustic Series collection, this Battleship joins other iconic games like Connect Four, Sorry, and Monopoly. As its name implies, the throwback red-and-blue colour palette for this version of Battleship has been replaced. The two wooden game units sport a vintage, weathered look, that is complemented with traditionally coloured gray plastic ships, red “hit” pegs, and white “miss” pegs. Each game unit folds up for easy storage and portability, so children ages 7 and up can play on the go.

The Battleship Rustic Series edition is available from several retailers at a cost of $19.99 USD.
