It’s been more than 75 years since DC Comics first introduced Batman to the world. He was embraced by eager comic book fans and eventually grew to become one of DC Comics’ most celebrated (and profitable) superheroes.
His popularity motivated manufacturers to produce Batman-branded toys. Released in 1977 from Mego Corporation, the Batman Command Console acted as communications center for two-way communication with any number of the company’s “Bat Coder” walkie-talkies. Biff! Wham! Pow!
