Atari Couchcade from Arcade1Up allows retro-gaming fans to experience the company’s classic arcade games from the comfort of their own couches.
The Couchcade features 10 games (Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Centipede, Millipede, Missile Command, Tempest, Major Havoc, Lunar Lander, Crystal Castles, and Gravitar) and consists of a Micro Game Console and Wireless Control Deck.
Powered by 4 “AAA” batteries, the Control Deck connects wirelessly to the Micro Game Console connected to a TV via an HDMI port. The 2.4-GHz frequency gives players a working wireless range of 30-feet.
The Wireless Control Deck offers a “real feel” trackball, spinner, and a series of buttons that provide access to the Couchcade’s on-screen menus and allows players to switch between gaming options. One or 2-player select buttons and power and volume control switches complete the setup.
Couchcade also features a soft beanbag bottom with the classic Atari colour palette and a built-in carrying handle.
