Amaze-A-Matics Car Kits from Hasbro (1969)

Marketed as the “car with a brain,” Hasbro’s Amaze-A-Matics were battery operated cars that moved forward, backward, left, and right based on program cards that were fed into the bottom of the car. The toy line’s popularity led Hasbro to release additional car kits that allowed kids to further customize their vehicles with new bodies, decorations, and tires.
