Located in Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia, ZAGREB 80’s Museum looks back at life in 1980s Yugoslavia through popular objects of the times.
Historians, nostalgia buffs, and curiosity seekers are among the visitors to the museum, which is housed in a first-floor apartment. A collection of toys, a video game system, vinyl turntables, tape decks, landlines, and other household items all tell the story of what life was like in 1980s Yugoslavia. Nothing is behind glass in this six-room museum and people are encouraged to interact with the displays. The influence of North American culture is obvious along with distinctly European elements.
ZAGREB 80’s Museum also serves as a location for photo, video, and advertising shoots.
Plan your next vacation to include a visit to a play-related store, museum, or private collection.
