The Op puts a pop-culture twist on Yahtzee with its Hocus Pocus edition of the classic game.
First published by E.S. Lowe in 1956, Yahtzee has enjoyed a long life as a game-night favourite thanks to its ease of play and constant reinterpretations. The Op adds a little magic to the game with its edition based on the Hocus Pocus franchise.
The game is packaged in a black window box illustrated with the film’s protagonists, witches Winifred, Sarah, and Mary. Players roll the dice using the cauldron dice cup in an effort to conjure up scoring combinations that result in being the player with the highest score.
Created for one or more players ages eight and older, the game comes with a dice cup in the likeness of a witch’s cauldron, five green dice illustrated with ghastly ingredients from Winifred’s spellbook (dead man’s toe, newt saliva, thine own tongue, oil of boil, dash of pox, herb that’s red), a score pad, pencil, and rules. A game takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
