Warm-Bake Oven from Kenner (1973)

A note from the editor: Kenner released the Warm-Bake Oven in 1973, a toy oven that was part of the company’s Easy-Bake Oven line. The toy used specially formulated mixes that, when placed in round metal baking pans and inserted into a reservoir filled with hot water, caused the batter to rise and bake in a short period of time. The Warm-Bake Oven was designed for children ages four and older, younger than the Easy-Bake Oven’s eight-years-and-up demographic.
