Campers are often the vehicle of choice for people planning a driving adventure. Playmobil pays homage to one of the original road-trip icons with the Volkswagen T1 Camping Bus (#70716). The new VW Camper is a 1:18 scale replica of the classic van.
Recommended for ages 5 to 99, the officially licensed toy checks in at 4.3-inches long x 9.8-inches wide x 5.1-inches high and features the familiar V-shaped front-end, VW logo, and a two-tone exterior in white and sealing-wax red. A curved roof, split-screen windshield, and removable roof rack round out the external features.
Much of the interior design is also true-to-form, complete with a mini-kitchen, storage spaces, and fold-down seating that converts into a sleeping area for two characters. The interior is easily accessible via the removable roof and rear and side doors that open.
Like most Playmobil toys, the Volkswagen T1 Camping Bus comes with a variety of accessories, including two character figures, food and camping utensils, a map, and a camera.
