Summer is just around the corner and it’s time to introduce the kids to 1960s counter-culture, with the officially licensed Volkswagen T1 Camper Van from Wonderlanes.
This homage to the Volkswagen Type 2 Samba bus comes equipped with two opening doors, a light-up dashboard, and working head and tail lights. A 12V rechargeable battery allows the 51″(L) x 33″(W) x 25″(H) ride-on to reach maximum speeds of 3.7mph via two forward and one reverse gear. Suitable for children ages 3 and up, the van weighs in at roughly 80lbs and supports a max load of 88lbs.
Wonderlanes has also managed to integrate a few upgrades into the model. In addition to some on-board sound effects, the van features USB and SD slots so kids to rock out to vintage tunes while they’re traveling the neighbourhood.
