Editor’s Note — 2-1B are medical droids in the Star Wars universe. In 1980, Kenner Products continued to manufacture toys for the Star Wars franchise with its Wave 3 action figures released in conjunction with The Empire Strikes Back. Along with the main cast, a number of supporting characters were produced as part of Wave 3, including 2-1B, Imperial Commander, Dengar, Rebel Soldier, Imperial Stormtrooper, AT-AT Driver action figures.
