Editor’s Note — In the 1970s, Mego produced its World’s Greatest Super-Heroes line of eight-inch vinyl action figures. The collection included Batman, Robin, Superman, Aquaman, Spider-Man, and other characters. Founded in 1954, the company produced less expensive versions of popular products and pioneered the licensing of existing properties for its toys.
