Vintage Toy Demonstration: Mr. Peanut Peanut Butter Maker from Emenee (1967)

Editor’s Note: The Mr. Peanut character was an advertising mascot for the Planters packaged snack food company. The mascot made its first appearance in 1916 and quickly made its mark in popular culture, with the character’s likeness being represented on items including homeware, matchbooks, and children’s games and toys, such as the Mr. Peanut Peanut Butter Maker. Mr. Peanut was ultimately killed off in a 2020 television commercial in a move to make room for a rejuvenated mascot named Peanut, Jr.
