Editor’s Note: Charlie Choo-Choo from Child Guidance was an action pull-toy for children ages one to three. The colourful train was constructed from plastic, and humanized with a smiling face and tiny arms and legs that motioned as the train was pulled. A division of Archer Plastics of Elmhurst, New York, Child Guidance manufactured toys focused on child development. It produced toys such as Ed-U-Phone, Jack, Teach-A-Time Clock, and Junior Turn-A-Gear that all sought to teach children about the world around them.
