Editor’s Note: Pass the Nuts from TOMY was a tabletop action game in which woodland animals worked cooperatively to move a nut to the top of the playfield. Four exterior buttons, marked with a bear, fox, rabbit, and monkey, activated internal mechanisms that nudged a double-sided nut token, an acorn on one side and a pistachio on the other, upward toward a bird’s nest. When the nut reached the summit and dropped into the nest, it flipped over and rolled back down to the starting point, automatically resetting the game for continued play.
