Editor’s Note: Billed as a “build ’em, blast ’em action game”, Dynamite was a three-dimensional board game published by Parker Brothers in 1988. Players had to build and traverse elevated bridges in an effort to get their adventurer pawn safely around the board. Sharks, dinosaurs, and other dangers lurked under the bridges. A single dice determined the moves — build the bridge or push the plunger at the centre of the game. A push of the plunger could result in toppling a segment of the bridge, forcing players to regress to a position of safety and start the rebuilding process.
