Vintage Game Demonstration: Color Match from Ideal (1982)

Editor’s Note: In 1982, Ideal launched the Color Match game, challenging players ages 7 and older to strategically position coloured tiles to achieve solid, matching colour fields across its grid. Teasing “more twists than Rubik’s Cube”, the tabletop game borrowed visual cues from Rubik’s Cube while distinguishing itself by having players earn points for matching colored squares directly on the game board.
