With the Trapper Keeper Game, board game publisher Big G Creative pays homage to one of the most iconic school supplies from the ‘80s and ‘90s.
The game challenges 2-5 players, ages 8 and up to score points by collecting cards and storing them in their Trapper Keeper pocket folders. Collectible cards include homework, quizzes, parent signatures, detention slips, report cards, notes from classmates, and field trip slips. Players can also collect doodles to increase their scores. As you might expect, the player with the most points at the end of the school day is declared the winner.
The game is packaged in a replica Trapper Keeper notebook, complete with the classic Velcro strap. There are three vintage designs to choose from, Rainbow Unicorn, Palm Tree Sunset, and Psychedelic Outer Space – artwork inspired by some of the original imagery used when the product was first introduced in 1978.
The Trapper Keeper Game includes 81 school paper cards, 11 bell cards, five mini Trapper Keeper folders, a teacher’s pet marker, score pad, and pencil. The game is available exclusively at Target retail stores and checks in at $16.99 USD.
