  3. Time magazine released their list of “The 13 Most Influential Toys of All Time” – Cabbage Patch Dolls, the Easy-Bake Oven and LEGO all made the cut.
  4. You’ll be able to binge-watch a Richie Rich live-action series on Netflix. Take that House of Cards!
  5. Hello Kitty celebrated her 40th birthday. I feel old.

  7. Someone paid $10,350 for rare, vintage Star Wars action figure packaging.
  8. Game inventors Tim Walsh and Peggy Brown started a Crowdrise campaign to help fund a required operation for Jon Spinello, the inventor of the game Operation. It went viral with Hasbro even stepping up to the plate with assistance.
