The Amsterdam Toy Museum is a private collection of vintage mechanical toys, games, puzzles, dolls, toys, and electronic games.
The museum, founded by Joseph Bleckman, highlights childhood objects from the 20th century. Familiar toys such as Barbie, three-dimensional puzzles, and action figures are found alongside rarer objects of play, such as a post-war Lionel model train transformer and seldom-seen games such as Odd Ogg (Ideal, 1962) and Dr. Nim (Education Science Research, 1965). Unlimited play pinball games provide hands-on entertainment.
The Amsterdam Toy Museum is a short distance from Dam Square. It is open by appointment only and guided by Bleckman himself.
