To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope, Walt Disney Records is reissuing a special vinyl edition of the film’s soundtrack – just in time for holiday gift giving.
The three-LP set is made of heavyweight 180-gram vinyl and includes a 48-page hardcover book, Tuning Up a Galaxy, which includes rare behind-the-scenes photos and several essays that provide insight into John Williams’ iconic score.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Star Wars without some special effects, and the soundtrack doesn’t disappoint. Disc three includes a hand-etched 3D hologram of the Death Star on one side and the film’s 40th anniversary logo on the other.
The box set checks in at $150.00 USD and is set for release on December 1st.
Company: Disney Music Emporium | Available: December 2017 | Price: $150.00 USD
