The Scott Family Amazeum encourages families to learn, explore, and play together with thoughtfully designed STEAM activities for all ages.
Opened in July 2015, the non-profit organization features permanent and rotating exhibits. The 52,000-square-foot facility includes activities such as the 3M Tinkering Hub, Hershey’s Lab (the only one of its kind outside of Hershey Company headquarters), Cloud Theater, Emerging Explorers, Nickelodeon Play Lab, Nature Valley Water Amazements, and many other opportunities for interactive play. Wednesday’s Priceless Nights make the Amazeum accessible through a pay-what-you-wish donation.
The grounds of the Amazeum include a number of cycling and pedestrian trails along with seasonal exhibits. The Amazeum’s LEED Silver-certified building is recognized for its excellence in sustainable design. Former Walmart CEO, Lee Scott, and his family are major contributors to the organization.
