Officially licensed pinball art becomes a decorative motif in a series of handmade lamp shades from OutsideEdge Products. The company has reproduced backglass artwork in miniature form, then combined them into four-sided lamp shades. Each shade features four pieces of art from classic Bally and Williams pinball machines.
Currently, five different combinations of backglass art are available, including some of my all-time favorite games: Bally Eight Ball and Williams Satellite. The panels are uniformly constructed, allowing for individual panels to be easily swapped in and out if you have purchased more than one of the shades.
The shades measure 10 1/2″ H x 14 3/4″ W x 14 3/4″ D, and come in one of two finishes (black or white with a splatter finish). OutsideEdge says that each shade “easily attaches to most lamp bases and also works hanging from the ceiling.” A four-sided pinball lamp shade costs $89.99 USD and is available for shipping only within the United States.
