A daily look back at the toys, games, and objects that captured our attention as children and continue to fascinate us today.

Burlingame Museum of PEZ Memorabilia – Burlingame, California

The Burlingame Museum of PEZ Memorabilia is actually three museums in one.

The PEZ museum contains an example of every PEZ dispenser ever sold ‒ over 1,000 items since 1950. The dispensers are generally sorted by collection, which makes walking through this museum a fun stroll through the decades.

The Classic Toy Museum features toys from the 20th century, including icons such as Barbie, Play-Doh, and Mr. Potato Head. The Museum recently added a section called “Classic Toys of the Future”. Predicting future classics always leads to lively debates among visitors.

Remember Lawn Darts? Some toys may have seemed like a good idea during development but should never have seen the light of day. You’ll see Lawn Darts and more in The Banned Toy Museum!
