The Museum of Failure in Helsingborg, Sweden, is a shrine to products that weren’t as well-received as hoped or expected; the duds, the fails, the disasters.
Samuel West opened the Museum as a way to showcase the high percentage of products that fail and products that companies try to forget ever existed: Coca-Cola Blak, Apple Pippin, Google Glass (although a comeback attempt is possible), Olestra, and No More Woof, to name a few.
The Museum’s collection of over 70 items is a combination of West’s personal collection and donated items. Public and private tours are available. The Museum also offers opportunities to see items from the collection at their pop-up events around the world.
Plan your next vacation to include a visit to a play-related store, museum, or private collection.
