Model Car & Track magazine was published monthly by Delta Magazines, Inc. in Los Angeles, California. The first “Winter Edition” in October 1963 teased readers, with a monthly publication schedule commencing as of September 1964.
Model Car & Track coincided with the American slot-car racing fad of the 1960s. The content focused on slot-car racing across all scales and types of cars. Regular features included product reviews, car and track construction how-tos, photo galleries, and collector’s guides.
After 46 issues, it was folded into Model Car Science magazine, another Delta Magazines title, after the January 1968 issue.
