A colourful new photo book from Chronicle recreates ordinary objects and scenes from everyday life using LEGO bricks.
LEGO Still Life with Bricks: The Art of Everyday Play is full of original art showcased across 144 pages in an 8×8 hardcover format. Some of the scenes vibrantly and playfully captured include LEGO-ized versions of sushi, lush houseplants, balloons, minty toothpaste, bacon and eggs, waves lapping a beach, and many others. All the designs were created using unconnected LEGO pieces.
There’s also a complementary set of 100 collectible postcards featuring images from the book. The set includes two copies each of 50 full-colour images.
LEGO Still Life with Bricks: The Art of Everyday Play is available directly from Chronicle Books or a number of other online resellers for a price of $18.95 USD. The postcard set retails for $22.95 USD.
