Travelers can bring home some landmarks of iconic cities with a new series of 3D postcards from LEGO.
Designed for ages 9 and up, each brick-built set is designed to resemble a traditional paper-based postcard–except each stands between 4 and 5-inches tall and includes between 200-300 pieces. On July 1, 2022, LEGO released the first 2 cities in the series for pre-order: New York (40519) and Beijing (40654).
The New York set features some of the Big Apple’s most famous sites, including the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and One World Trade Center. The history of the Chinese capital is captured in the Beijing set, which showcases a Chinese temple, the Great Wall of China, and the Summer Palace. Both offerings include stickers that can be used to decorate the display.
Two additional LEGO Postcards will be released in August: Paris (40568) and London (40569). The Paris skyline includes the Eiffel Tower, Arce de Triomphe, and Pont Neuf. A selection of London’s famous sights includes Big Ben Clock Tower, Piccadilly Circus, the London Eye, and a Red Double Decker Bus.
All LEGO Postcards will set you back $14.99 USD and will be available in LEGO stores and the company’s online store.
